Adetokunbo Amosu is a creative entrepreneur within the fashion industry.

A graduate of Banking and Finance with experiences in corporate Nigeria spanning stockbroking, insurance, marketing and direct retail, she delved into entrepreneurship in her quest to serve her world.

Adetokunbo sees fashion as a platform for change and this is evident in the causes she lends herself to. While running the day to day operations at Reniques Occasions, she serves on the Executive Council of Success Circle Africa and volunteers as the Head, Publicity for Business Side of Fashion, a fashion-NGO whose objective is to help fashion entrepreneurs grow, sustain growth and move on to profitability.

She has, over the years, acquired several skills through the AEP program at FATE FOUNDATION, The National Export Promotion Council/AGOA Bulk Apparel Manufacturing training and recently completed advanced training in Leadership at the Daystar Leadership Academy.

With a core in retail advisory and customer engagement, she’s honed her expertise in inventory management, sourcing, procurement, collection assembly, visual merchandising and scaling businesses.

Adetokunbo was one of the 1,200 exceptional women who won the Federal Government Youth with Innovation grant for young women entrepreneurs in the 2nd run of the program tagged YouWin Women. She’s also a proud recipient of the “Give Her A Push” initiative by the African Fashion Development and Empowerment Centre and an Alumni of the EDC/Cherie Blair Foundation “Road to Growth” Program at the Pan Atlantic University.

Adetokunbo is champion for female entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships and collaborations and is a firm believer of Ministry in the market place/in career.

Tokunbo has dreams of being able to successfully develop/partner with a work-from-home scheme for mums with babies under 2 years of age (as that stage, for most mums, is always challenging; where mums are torn between keeping their jobs because of increased family expenditure and staying back home to manage the homefront.)

Mum to Oluwasomidotun and Olufela, she is happily married to Oluwole and is committed to continuous learning, traveling and experiencing other cultures.

At the Conference, she will be speaking on: Staying Fashionable On A Budget.
