Olubunmi Samuel-Adeyemi is a Personal Finance Coach at The LIMER™ Project. Over the years, she has trained young professionals across the globe in the art of managing their personal and family finances.
Olubunmi is very passionate about multiplying funds for individuals and providing same to viable businesses as capital or for expansion. Her passion to empower young people to create and manage wealth has led her to impart financial literacy knowledge to individuals and groups, irrespective of their economic status. She loves helping people to see that they can master money and live life on their own terms.
At the helm of affairs at The LIMER™ Project, Olubunmi is constantly speaking and training on handling Personal Finance via private coaching sessions, classroom learning and group sessions. Her vision is to substantially reduce poverty across the world. Hence, she has invaded a number of public secondary schools in Nigeria where she trains hundreds of students on financial literacy.
Olubunmi has bagged several certifications and taken short courses on Personal Finance, Financial Planning, Financial Literacy and Business Financial Health at Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Australia and the Sydney Institute of TAFE. She was also certified in Business Data Planning and Analysis at the Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University.
Olubunmi holds a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Banking and Finance from the prestigious Covenant University, Ota, and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (UNAAB).
She has had a multi-cultural and dynamic career with positions held in organisations such as CDNet, LEAP Africa, ValueFronteira, KPMG, Social Runway, RegCharles, etc.
As the Entrepreneurship Programmes Manager at RegCharles Finance and Capital Limited, Lekki, Lagos, she successfully led the design and management of entrepreneurship programs for women and youths around Lagos.
As a team effort at KPMG, Olubunmi conducted field research for 200 individuals and 50 SMEs in the Banking Industry Customer Satisfaction Survey (BICSS), as well as the Telecomms Industry survey.
As Business Leadership and Special Projects Officer for LEAP Africa Ltd/Gte, Lagos, she created and implemented a strategic plan for engaging alumni of LEAP’s Business Leadership Programme. She also supervised data management for up to 600 entrepreneurs and made informed recommendations to the Board through detailed quantitative analysis of surveys conducted.
In addition to engaging in the fundraising efforts for LEAP’s Youth Leadership programmes, she coordinated activities required for the successful publishing of LEAP Africa’s 4th book on business leadership.
In 2016, she was nominated by the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) to the Technical Committee on National Financial Literacy Week and heads the Publicity Sub-Committee.
